1. 出席 Attendance |
20% |
Attendance is vital to class participation and will be taken and used in determining final grades. During the whole semester, students can take two leaves without any reason or advance notice of absences. From the 3rd leave, advance notices with reasons must be given by e-mails or in person, otherwise, any absence will be figured in the attendance grade (one point). Any significant tardy or early departure from class will be figured as a half absence (0.5 point). |

After finishing each lesson, an in-class quiz will be given. Make-up exams for quizzes or mid-term exam are needed to be done within one week and will be taken 10% off from your score |
